After being an elementary teacher for two decades, I went full time as a creator after my husband retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service and got a new job in The Netherlands (hence his new “retirement” beard)!
Being a teacher for so long is how I know and understand JUST how hard and exhausting teaching is. Let me help you take a load off of your already full & overflowing plate by creating educational, fun & engaging activities for you and your primary students.
When I was in the classroom, I only taught either kindergarten or 1st grade. For this reason, I focus on creating quality, age-appropriate and useful materials for primary teachers because that is my expertise and I know what works for those young ages.
My Masters may be in Reading, but I have a passion for creating materials for all subjects…espcially those subjects and standards that are often left out!
When creating materials for you and your classroom, my main focus is always the student. Will they understand it? Is it age-appropriate? Is it FUN and engaging for them? Can it be differentiated for everyone?
But I also want to make things easy for you, and that is why you will never find anything in my store that is complicated to complete, setup or assemble. I also try to create video demos on how to set up activities and crafts and drop those videos on social media (IG & TikTok and also on my YouTube channel) This will help all the visual learners that just want to see exactly how it’s done!
